The Weeknd and Daft Punk’s ‘I Feel It Coming’ Video Is Otherworldly
The Weeknd and Daft Punk's second Starboy collaboration finally has a visual, and the "I Feel It Coming" music video is a retro take on an extraterrestrial adventure.
Abel Tesfaye (dressed in an on-trend military jacket, placing this space tale in our current time) sings from an alien planet with purple skies, otherworldly orange sunlight and a beautiful state-shifting alien played by model Kiko Mizuhara. Their romance is sadly short-lived, as The Weeknd soon learns what happens when an ominous storm swirls up to change everything; fortunately a certain helmeted pair show up and make a...Discovery in the snow.
If Daft Punk fans find these visuals to be a slick reminder of the duo's own past videos, that's likely because the "I Feel It Coming" video is directed by Warren Fu, who's also behind the clips for Random Access Memories tracks "Get Lucky," "Lose Yourself to Dance" and "Instant Crush."
