Jennifer Hudson drew upon some Jamaican inspiration in a cover of Bob Marley's 'No Woman, No Cry' on 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' on Wednesday.

Backed by the Roots, the performance was a part of a week-long tribute to honor the 30th anniversary of the reggae singer's death. Hudson stayed true to Marley's original in her spirited rendition, adding minor ad libs and a slight accent for effect.

Marley’s oldest son, Ziggy, kicked off the week with a performance of 'Get Up, Stand Up,' while rocker Chris Cornell offered a passionate cover of 'Redemption Song' on Tuesday.

Former Wallflowers frontman Jakob Dylan will take the stage tonight, and Lenny Kravitz will close out the week with a performance on Friday. Tune into 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' on NBC at 12:37AM ET to see the remaining tribute performances.
