Justin Timberlake Says Frank Ocean Had the ‘Real Album of the Year’
Justin Timberlake just pulled a digital Kanye.
The "Can't Stop the Feeling" singer weighed in on the Adele/Beyoncé Album of the Year controversy Thursday (March 9), tweeting his two cents that it was Frank Ocean who should have won the coveted Grammy.
His declaration was made after he tweeted about the "fire" new Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean and Migos collaboration, "Slide."
"While I'm at it... Frank Ocean had the REAL Album Of The Year with BLONDE. #NotFakeNews," Timberlake tweeted.
While the statement bears a striking resemblance to Kanye West's infamous 2009 MTV VMAs interruption of Taylor Swift, the pop superstar also inadvertently threw himself into Ocean's ring with the rapper, as West actively boycotted this year's Grammy Awards after Blonde was not nominated.
