Rumors have been swirling for a while about Kanye West's possible appearance at SXSW this upcoming weekend. Well, the cutting edge rapper has finally confirmed that he will take the stage on March 19 through a viral video.

People began speculating about the 'All of the Lights' rapper's appearance at the Austin-based music festival after a mysterious video that began circulating on the Internet at the end of February. Well, now thanks to his official video announcement (featuring a mashup of Kanye's biggest hits), the rumors are now reality.

Appropriately, festival goers can catch the "21st century schizoid man's" performance at midnight at VEVO's Power Station, which is actually a converted 1950s power plant.

Kanye West blew festival goers away in 2009, when he took the stage with a slew of special guests. With an all-star lineup of singers featured on 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,' many people have high hopes that West continues this tradition and brings some of his friends along for the show.
