At a fragrance event in 2012, Katy Perry decided to step out with a short cut in a buttery blonde shade.

This chin-length, layered bob was more cropped than we were used to, but given all the processing she put her hair through (with constant color changes that weren't of the synthetic sort), she was bound to cut off the dead ends.
