Fresh off her performance medley at the 2012 American Music Awards, Kelly Clarkson stopped by 'The Ellen Degeneres Show' to sit down with the talk show host and perform 'Catch My Breath,' the lead single off of her upcoming Greatest Hits album.

Shockingly, Ellen DeGeneres started off the interview with a congratulatory remark that probably surprised most viewers. "Congratulations, you're engaged!" shouted the host, which caused Clarkson emit a nervous laughter before clearing that up. "No, no I'm not engaged! Everyone thinks we are, but we've actually only been dating nine months!"

But Clarkson did say that she and boyfriend Brandon Blackstock will get eventually get married one day, but that they'd elope! DeGeneres disagreed, saying that because the singer lives in Nashville, she should have an outdoor wedding. It'd be "just another day to get my picture taken," Clarkson countered.

The singer also performed her latest hit 'Catch My Breath,' which sounded lovely as usual, coming from the always-on Clarkson. Dressed in all black, her blonde hair flowing freely past her shoulders, she was her typical self, delivering an incomparable performance that always makes her a joy to watch.
