It seems that Grammy-winning duo La Roux are going to attempt to spin their good fortune into 2012, starting with a new EP.

Elly Jackson and Ben Langmaid are rumored to be elbows deep in the beginnings of new music, which will follow their 2009 self-titled debut record which spun the ridiculously catchy single 'Bulletproof,' as well as 'In for the Kill.' The album took home Best Electronic/Dance Album at the 53rd Grammys back in February.

The La Roux duo were practically everywhere in 2011 -- from Dick Clark's 'Rockin' New Year's Eve' to Jay-Z and Kanye's 'Watch the Throne' album -- and though they may be stuck between the four walls of the studio for much of the New Year, we expect that the chatter about the hot English electropop coupling will continue regardless.

The new yet-to-be-named EP will more than likely drop before the door closes on 2012, in time for next Christmas, perhaps? We sure hope so.
