La Toya Jackson will take the stage for the first time since the '90s when she joins a superstar lineup at Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert, a celebration of Michael Jackson's life and music, planned for Oct. 8 in Cardiff, Wales.

WENN reports that La Toya announced her involvement by saying, "There will never be another magical moment such as this to celebrate Michael with his fans."

The tribute has divided the Jackson family, with Jermaine and Randy saying the concert should not take place during the ongoing trial of Conrad Murray, who is charged with involuntary manslaughter in Michael's death. Janet is also skipping the tribute.

But La Toya says her brother would prefer that she be at the concert. "In speaking with my mother yesterday, I asked her where she thinks Michael would rather have us be -- in this courtroom filled with negativity and lies, or on a stage celebrating his music, his legacy and his life. She said without a second of thought, 'Celebrating his life with family and fans.' I am looking forward to putting on a great show and making my brother proud."
