Lil Wayne is recording another rock album, this time guided by the inspiration of Nirvana and other rock bands from the past, according to producer Detail.

"I've been listening to Nirvana, I've been listening to Pink Floyd," Detail told Mixtape Daily. "The zone I'm goin' in on this sh---, I'm bringing it back, back, back, back with a new sound ... We all get everything from the past musically. Everything has been done already. So for me, it's just taking those elements that I can ride in my car and enjoy and bring it back to something new."

'Rebirth II' will be the sequel to Weezy's 2010 rock record 'Rebirth,' which was panned by critics but achieved gold certification. Detail has already worked with Lil Wayne on songs like 'How to Love' and has also produced for Bow Wow.

Lil Wayne is apparently a busy man these days. In addition to starting 'Rebirth II,' Young Money president Mack Maine says Weezy has begun work on 'I Am Not a Human Being II.' Still Lil Wayne told MTV his new records aren't his major concern at the moment.

"'I Am Not a Human Being II' and 'Rebirth II' are so not important right now," Wayne said. "We got Twist coming, we got Tyga coming, and then we have Shanell coming, then we got Bow Wow — that's what's really important. What I'm doing is really never important, actually."
