According to FOX News, one of the entertainment industry's most famous father and daughter, Liv and Steven Tyler, are looking to record a duet together. Liv has made a name for herself as a Hollywood starlet, acting in films like 'Lord of the Rings' and 'Armageddon.' Steven Tyler, as most people who aren't living under a rock know, is the frontman of Aerosmith and the zany judge on 'American Idol.'

While promoting her newest film, 'Super,' Liv Tyler commented to the press that she and her father have been wanting to record a duet for some time now. "We sing all the time together. We always talk about doing something together," she said. "Sometimes when he is in the studio he'll say 'come down and sing backup or sing with me on this song.' But I'm usually somewhere else, and our schedules make it so hard to meet up."

Although Liv is known for her acting, most people do not know that she also takes after her rockstar father in the vocal department. She has had small singing parts in movies like 'Jersey Girl' and was even featured on the track 'Hey, That's No Way to Say Goodbye' when indie rock group Lemonheads covered the Leonard Cohen classic.

During the interview, Liv also took the time to discuss her father's 'American Idol' side-job. "I'm not particularly familiar with 'American Idol' as a whole ... But I feel really happy for my dad that he's doing something he loves and something different," she said. "It has been really interesting for me because my whole life, especially in America, people relate to and really love Aerosmith ... People are coming up to talk to me about my father’s heart because they think he's so funny and sincere. It's really sweet because that's the man that I've always known my whole life, but it's interesting that the world gets to see that part of him now."
