There Is a Lonely Island Movie in the Works

Attention, everyone: A Lonely Island movie is happening, and there is no doubt it is going to be epic.

According to Variety, Universal Pictures is set to make a film about the comedy music trio made up of Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone -- you know, the guys (and 'SNL' favorites) that brought us the musical gems like 'D--- in a Box,' 'I'm on a Boat,' 'Like a Boss,' and 'Motherlover.' Schaffer and Taccone are set to direct, while Judd Apatow will produce the film.

While there is no word yet on if any special guests -- like Lonely Island favorites Justin Timberlake, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, T-Pain and more -- will make appearances in the movie, there is no doubt it is going to be laugh out loud funny, especially with Apatow ('Knocked Up,' 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin,' 'Bridesmaids') producing. This is one movie we absolutely cannot wait to see.
