Jake Gyllenhaal's big sis Maggie isn't exactly what we'd call a makeup maven or a makeupista, so this makeup-free photo, taken back in 2006, does not shock us in the least.

The pretty Gyllenhaal got her start in indie flicks, thanks to her raw, left-of-center edge. This image reminds us of when we we first made her acquaintance, Hollywood-style.

Here, her baby blues and light complexion pop, since they are not obscured by too much color or texture. She looks undeniably fresh-faced, and we like it. We're sure her actor hubby ,Peter Sarsgaard, the father of her two daughters, would agree.
