Michael Jackson will be fighting the dead once more, and this time, it's going to be in 3D.

Billboard reports that Jackson's 13-minute 'Thriller' music video from 1983 will be getting the 3D treatment for a whole new generation. The announcement was made by director John Landis, who says that 3D version will be released in 2015.

"It is going to reappear in a highly polished and three-dimensional way that is very exciting on the big screen," Landis told the New York Daily News.

Landis hopes that the 3D version will be released both in theaters and on the Blu-ray 3D format.

'Thriller' has had a long legacy for Jackson and is often regarded as one of his most memorable videos. It was the first video to premiere on MTV, and it inspired the Michael Jackson 'Thriller' dance - a dance that has often been mimicked over the years, especially around Halloween.
