Ne-Yo brought self-love to New Year's Eve, performing his feel-good anthem 'Let Me Love You' on MTV's 'Club New Year's Eve' special.

Rocking a bright red suit and his signature fedora, Ne-Yo hit the stage to sing and dance his way through the self-esteem boosting track from 'R.E.D.' (not to be confused with Taylor Swift's 'Red,' mind you). He even added in some extra dance breakdowns, which thrilled partygoers and audiences at home -- because New Year's Eve is the best time ever to get down.

Though most of Ne-Yo's more recent hits have been uptempo songs, he's looking forward to bringing in a new era of ballads. He chatted up 'Club New Year's Eve' hostess and erstwhile 'Jersey Shore' starlet Snooki about his plan to go back to R&B basics in 2013.

"You know what?" he said when asked for his musical New Year's plans. "R&B music. Y'all remember slow jams? I want R&B to make a comeback in 2013 and I'm gonna try and have something to do with that." We can't think of anyone better suited -- literally and figuratively -- for the job.
