Ne-Yo is not thrilled with the state of R&B, so he hopes that his forthcoming music project will change all of that. During his appearance on VH1's 'Big Morning Buzz' the 'Give Me Everything' singer said that his fifth album, titled 'Love & Passion' would be "full of real music."

The three-time Grammy singer-songwriter feels that the R&B scene is lacking real emotions in their songs. "R&B needs to make a comeback," he states. "[We need] songs that evoke emotions. That song that reminds you of that really great relationship, or that crappy relationship or everything that happened in between." He then asked, "Do you remember when they use to play ballads on the radio? When the last time you heard a ballad on the radio?"

In addition to music, Ne-Yo has also created an animated series for the Cartoon Network called 'I Heart Tuesday.' The series centers on a teenage brother and sister duo who have inherited a curse from their Greek ancestors that forces them to save the world every Tuesday for the rest of their lives.
