Pairing ‘80s heartthrobs New Kids on the Block and ‘90s hit machine the Backstreet Boys has got to be the best thing since peanut butter and jelly – especially when they join forces on their show-stopping NKOTBSB tour, which kicked off in late May. With a set that’s running through early July and selling out at nearly every stop along the way, we had to give you a taste of what’s in store.
On their second night of two at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, C.T., all nine performers hit the stage and kicked off the night with a mash-up of three songs (NKOTB's 'Single,' BSB's 'The One,' and 'Viva la Vida' borrowed from Coldplay). The elaborate stage set featured a convenient catwalk that allowed them to strut the "right stuff" out into the crowd, and a pair of risers to take them up into the skies. Despite there being nearly a dozen guys on stage during any given song, the conglomerate boy band NKOTBSB shared the stage with ease.

Former ‘American Idol’ contestant Jordin Sparks got the night started right with a high energy set including her latest single  ‘I Am Woman.’

The tour continues today, June 3 in Washington, D.C., before the group goes on to perform their first show in the NKOTB’s hometown of Boston.
