It went down as one of the most asked questions in the life and career of the late hip-hop artist Notorious B.I.G. ... Who is the cute, chubby-cheeked baby on rapper's 'Ready to Die' album cover?

High school senior, Keithroy Yearwood, who grew up in the Bronx has stepped forward claiming he is in fact that adorable baby with the Afro.

"Every time people find out they ask me if I got a lot of money out of it," 18-year-old Yearwood tells New York's Daily News.

Yearwood's family pocketed $150 for the two-hour photoshoot from the modeling agency that scored him the 1994 album cover released by Sean "Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records. The album went on to sell 3.3 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

"I just want people to know that's me," Yearwood says. "The truth is finally coming out."

Yearwood says the reality of it all sunk in around age eight when he would see posters of the album cover on the walls of his family and friends' houses.

"When I first found out about it, it wasn't a big deal to me," says the aspiring basketball star who is currently studying sports management in college. "Now, of course, it's a big deal to me."

March 9 marked the 14-year anniversary of the slaying of the rapper who's real name was Christopher Wallace. Throughout his career, Notorious B.I.G. certified sales of 17 million units in the United States.
