Three years ago, Rita Ora was an up-and-coming singer auditioning for Jay-Z with the hopes of being signed to his Roc Nation label. Now the 21-year-old Roc Nation artist will relive that nerve-racking experience vicariously as a temporary judge on the U.K. version of 'The X Factor.'

Ora showed up Monday (May 28) at the auditions at London's O2 arena alongside permanent judges Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh. According to Entertainmentwise, the 'R.I.P.' singer looked relaxed and focused on the red carpet. Ora was looking fantabulous in her all-white tuxedo dress, gold-encrusted rose sunglasses and plaid-designed leather heel bottoms.

One thing's for sure, if the London native was to give any singing hopeful the boot, she was going to do it in style.

Ora follows behind previous 'X Factor' (U.K.) judges including fellow British pop songbird Leona Lewis and former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell. We don't know how well she did as a judge, but we are quite sure she sympathizes with the contestants, since she was once an aspiring singer herself.

Jay-Z says when Ora auditioned for him, he could see the "potential" in her. “When she enters a room it changes -- and that presence, you can’t duplicate that, especially at a young age," he recalls. "It was just infectious to me, like, ‘Man, she loves this.’ She’s driven in that way.”

On Monday morning (May 28), Ora tweeted:
