We missed the soft falsetto voice of Robin Thicke. But we understand that he's a busy man now since he and his wife, actress Paula Patton, became proud parents to their son Julian. "He’s dancing, he’s singing, he’s kicking," says Thicke of the little tyke. "He wants to go in the studio every day and put the headphones on. He loves it."

In a recent interview with Rap-Up, the R&B lothario is still putting the finishing touches on his fifth untitled album, which is due out in early 2012. "It’s coming great," he says of the project. "I think you get to that point where you hate it and then you love it. It’s like any important relationship in your life."

Thicke says he produced the majority of the tracks on the album, however, he's hopeful that Pharrell Williams will come through to bring his studio wizardry to the project, as well. "Yeah, we were just actually talking about it," he says. "We might get together and do something because he’s heard the album so he wants to get something on there. So we're excited."

Let us all pray that Thicke and Skateboard P will find a way to collaborate in the studio and create some more R&B magic. And hurry up with that album dude -- we're lost without you.
