Robin Williams Helped Skyler Gisondo Ask a Girl to Prom [VIDEO]

There’s something to be said for a celebrity who continues to have nothing but good things being said about him, even posthumously. People can’t seem to say enough positive things about the late Robin Williams, and this latest story is just another in a series of so many.

According to ABC News, when Robin’s co-star Skyler Gisondo — who starred alongside Robin in ‘Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb’ — wanted to ask a girl out for prom, he turned to both Robin and Ben Stiller for help.

Skyler decided to ask the girl to prom via a video. He starts off saying: “Hey Hil, how’s it going? I have a question to ask you, but I’m going to need a little help from my friends.” And perfectly on cue, Ben and Robin walk into frame and begin the greatest video prom invitation ever recorded.

Robin and Ben totally deliver, making for a hilarious and fantastic video. According to the Hollywood Reporter (via ABC News), Skyler said that Robin was full of ideas: "All morning, Robin was pitching more ideas. He was saying, 'Can I say this? Would it be appropriate to say this?' 'You're Robin Williams. You can say whatever you want!' I realized that was the most awesome three minutes of my life and I've accepted it will go downhill from there."
