'American Idol' winner Scotty McCreery is gearing up to shoot a video for his first single, 'I Love You This Big,' on June 30 in Los Angeles.

The video will be directed by Shane Drake, who has worked with the likes of Paramore, Panic! at the Disco, Flo Rida and Timbaland. As of now, details about the video shoot are being kept under wraps, but we do know one thing -- plenty of extras are needed.

A casting call was recently launched, looking for fans of the North Carolina native. The post asked for photos of Scotty supporters between the ages of 18 and 65, so the range is wide.

McCreery, who just inked a management deal with XIX Entertainment and is being repped by Carrie Underwood‘s manager, has quite the summer ahead of him. Not only will he be shooting his video today, but he's also celebrating the release of his ‘Season 10 Highlights’ EP, which is available exclusively at Wal-Mart. The disc features five songs from the 'Idol' winner, including his latest single.

The country-loving singer will also embark on the American Idols Live! tour, beginning on July 6 at the Maverik Center in West Valley City, Utah. The 45-date run will feature solo and duet sets from the Season 10 favorites.
