Sour Patch Kids Goes on the Attack in ‘World Gone Sour’ Video

Sour Patch Kids, those sugary soft candies that kids and adults like to snack on, get gangsta on Method Man and his friends in a hilarious new video called 'World Gone Sour (The Lost Kids).' You better hide your kids, hide your wife and hide your husband, because there's nothing sweet about these little critters.

In the video for 'World Gone Sour,' Meth and friends are chillin' on the couch watching a game when one of his homies tries to open up a bag of Sour Patch Kids. When the bag explodes in his hands and the candies fly out, Meth warns his friends, "to watch their backs." It's then that we see the Sour Patch Kids come to life and soon wreak havoc on the unsuspecting party-goers.

Method Man is at the center of it all as he gives a blow-by-blow account of the Sour Patch Kids' destruction. From breaking jaws, to unplugging the TV, to throwing bleach in your laundry, these little b-----ds are nothing but trouble. Meth raps, "I like that, so snacks are sweeter in the end / But then again, ain't nothing sweeter than revenge / Now they are on your Facebook deletin' all your friends / Cloggin' up your toilet with a poop-eating grin." Eww, these are some nasty Sour Patch Kids.

The video is part of a promotional campaign for the World Gone Sour video game. "I'm excited to be collaborating with Sour Patch Kids and telling the story of how they've gone all wrong," said Method Man. "I love the steps that the brand is taking to keep it real and interesting ... and letting Meth be Meth -- brilliant."
