The father of 'American Idol' judge and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has died at the age of 95. Tyler's dad, Victor Tallarico, passed away at his home in Nashua, N.H. on Saturday, Sept. 10, according to The Nashua Telegraph

It's no secret where Tyler received his talent from -- his father was an accomplished classic musician and pianist, and he continued to perform locally well into his early '90s. Tallarico, who was also a World War II veteran, performed for his fellow inhabitants in the assisted living home where he resided up until his death.

The rocker was actually born Steven Victor Tallarico, and his parents raised him in Yonkers, N.Y. where he found his love for music through his father's piano-playing.

Tyler's mother passed away in 2008 at the age of 84. Tyler Our prayers and thoughts are with Tyler, 63, and his entire family during this time.
