Fitz and the Tantrums issued a fine debut album, 'Pickin' Up the Pieces,' which blended hand-clapping, guitar-free pop music with retro Motown soul. But their music really comes to life on stage, where the brass section and the voices of singers Michael Fitzpatrick and Noelle Scaggs can take over.

Thousands of fans will get to see that for themselves when Fitz and the Tantrums serve as one of the opening acts on Bruno Mars' Moonshine Jungle Tour this summer.

The stylish group played SXSW two years ago after the release of their debut, and they had one of 2011's best singles with 'MoneyGrabber.' Fitz and the Tantrums have a new album, 'More Than Just a Dream,' coming out in May, featuring the poppy lead single 'Out of My League.' Catch them at SXSW on March 14 and 15.
