While everyone will be ringing in the new year, rapper T.I. will make heads ring in 2012 with a new mixtape, according to a recent tweet. "Breaking News! Its official...I'm puttin out a mixtape midnight Jan.1 2012 called #F---dacityup. Wanna be the 1st thing yall hear nxt year," he announced on his Twitter page.

The mixtape will be the precursor to his full-length album titled 'Trouble Man,' which is due out in the first quarter of 2012. The Atlanta rapper is currently making noise with his latest video 'Here Ye, Here Ye,' (featuring Pharrell Williams).

Along with his solo project, Tip is also developing ideas for his much talked-about collaborative album with B.o.B called 'The Man and the Martian.' "We’ve recorded maybe five or six songs already," he tells MTV News. "But we’re both focusing on completing our solo projects first and if we need to pull from those songs for my project or his project, so be it. [After] we release our projects then we’ll able to collectively and solely focus on 'The Man and the Martian.'"

T.I. says the joint effort will boasts chaotic beats and showcase the duo's out-of-this-world personalities. "It will be a plethora of styles, sounds, a wide array of performance induced confusion," he says. "You gon’ have some glamorous gangsta and some intelligent nerd-type weird, just wonderful, magnificent, magical -- the music is going to just jump out the speakers and knock you down and wake you back up to knock you down again. That’s the best description I can give you."

Wow! It's looks like 2012 is going to be a big year for the King of the South.
