Taylor Swift Rocks Green on InStyle Cover, Admits She’s Attracted to Bad Boys [PHOTO]
Taylor Swift goes green on the November 2013 cover of InStyle, looking every inch the sexy librarian in a mint green, fuzzy sweater, a forest green pencil skirt and matte, crimson lips! Has she ever taken a bad picture? No. But she sure has had a lot of bad romances. In the feature, the singer admits she needs to stop seeking out the bad boys.
She told the publication that what she looks for in a significant other "needs to change."
T. Swizzle also admitted that she tends to magnetically attract the typ who you know is trouble when they walk in… to paraphrase her lyrics!
"My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting," she said. That's human nature.
She admitted that she hasn't been in a relationship in a long time, which has us going, "No kidding! You just spent several months on tour. When would you have the time, girl?" Enjoy that single life.
Still, her romantic optimism remains afloat, as she said, "I'd like to think if you're with the right person, you just feel great about things you've never felt great about before. At least that's how I've heard it's supposed to be. I wouldn't know."
Despite her famously unlucky in love situation, it's been a learning experience for the singer, 23. "Sometimes you know you're not the right fit, and you fall for it anyway," she said. Again, we can toss an 'I Knew You Were Trouble' lyric in here right about now…
She continued, "One thing I've learned that I'm proud of -- drum roll, please -- is when to walk away. I've had some short relationships because I know when to do that." There's her very smart answer for all the people who criticize her for driving men away from the get-go and for her inability to maintain a relationship of any considerable length.
And no, she is not dating Ed Sheeran. "Ed and I are such good friends. I have never had such a close guy friend before. It's always kind of creepy because with a guy friend-girl friend situation, it usually feels like one person always wants more. That's not the case here."
She also joked that any male that wants to be her friend is going to have to deal with a specific headache. "If you want to be friends with me, just know people are going to say we’re dating," she said.
Swift also referenced her pal Lena Dunham of 'Girls' fame, saying that she would go to the writer and actress if she made a big mistake in her life and needed advice.
Good gal pals are just as important as guy pals, and Tay Tay has both. But no one ever says she is dating her besties Selena Gomez and Emma Stone, or Dunham! Just sayin'.
