Celebrity Fight: Trouble in British-Irish Boy Band Paradise

The Wanted and One Direction have famously feuded in the past, and in Oct. 2012, Louis Tomlinson explained how it all started: "There was one press story where they were bad-mouthing us. I thought maybe that had been twisted. But then there ended up being about ten stories and they’ve been caught on camera doing little things." Tom Parker later admitted to fueling the fire, and Max George calling them "the new Jonas Brothers" didn't really help, despite the fact he kind of meant it as a compliment. Maybe?

Although the verbal sparring was minimal at first and really seemed a bit blown out of proportion, as the media really added a lot of tension to an otherwise petty fight, things really came to a head in early 2013 when 1D members Liam Payne (who was also taking publish potshots at the Wanted) and Louis Tomlinson started HARDCORE beefing with the Wanted's Tom Parker and Jay McGuiness on Twitter.

In one particular message, Tomlinson tweeted at Parker: "I actually think you could be the biggest t--t on twitter." The low blows continued, with Louis getting quite fiery, and McGuiness eventually tried to smooth things over (sort of): "Dear @Louis_Tomlinson, please stop mentioning us in your gigs, we certainly no longer mention you."

The drama has not been resolved, and whether these two groups can ever live perfect pop harmony together is yet to be seen.

Point Goes To: Neither. Just stop it, guys. You are both talented and awesome in your own ways.
