Forgive us, father, for we have laughed to excess at Broad City's latest, slightly blasphemous sketch.
Yesterday (December 15), the Comedy Central sketch show released an original web clip that finds Sisters stars Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as a pair of apostolnik-sporting, God-fearing nuns who are court-ordered to reform the trouble-making Abbi and Ilana. And — the ladies' gambling and boozing habits concerned — the sisters have got their work cut out for them. Lord, give them strength...
In the video above, Tinamy teach their disciples how to pray with rosary beads, resist the temptation of drugs and live out good, Catholic lives in spite of the fact that they're both Jewish. And their hard work soon pays off — Abbi and Ilana quickly become upstanding members of society. The same can't be said of Tina and Amy, though, who take the girls' contraband for themselves.
"I'm gonna smoke this!" Sister Amy declares while holding a bong, previously Ilana's. But the commandments!
