2011 BET Awards Winners

The 2011 BET Awards was the hottest ticket of the summer so far and many of rap and hip-hop's superstars were honored. It was no surprise when critical and commercial darling Nicki Minaj and up-and-coming artist Wiz Khalifa notched wins, but it was truly Chris Brown's night -- as the often controversial singer/dancer picked up an armful of awards and turned in a buzzed-about performance.

It felt like Brown's name was being announced at every turn; he was announced as the winner of the Fandemonium award, then he wasn't, then he was again!

Even though Brown is often in the news for his Twitter rants and his outbursts, tonight was all about the music, singing and dancing for the singer.
