2011 Billboard Music Awards Performance Pictures

These pictures from the 2011 Billboard Music Awards performances are almost as full of energy as the performers themselves. Pop performers -- including Rihanna, Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Black Eyed Peas, Pitbull, and many, many more -- took the stage at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., this evening.

Kicking off the awards show was Rihanna, who gave a sexy performance of her even sexier single, 'S&M.' Midway through the performance, Britney Spears emerged from the bottom of the stage in a char, surprising the audience since she wasn't announced in the Billboard lineup. Another performance highlight came with Nicki Minaj's duet with the wacky awards show host and 'The Hangover' star, Ken Jeong.
