We're getting pumped about 2014's new movie releases, even though Hollywood is still celebrating (and awarding!) the best films of the past year.

We're anticipating a lot of blockbuster sequels, including the latest in the 'X-Men,' 'Spider-Man' and 'The Hobbit' franchises. However, we'll also see the film of adaptions of some our favorite YA novels, like 'The Fault in Our Stars' and 'Divergent.'

January kicks off the year, giving us the latest 'Paranormal Activity' movie, Chris Pine's 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit' and the dude comedy 'That Awkward Moment.' Looks like we're in for a month that's equal parts terrifying, thrilling and hilarious with these new movies.

Check out what has already been announced for 2014′s new movie releases below, and keep checking back with PopCrush, as we’ll update this list frequently throughout the year.
