‘90210’ Season 5 Promo – What’s the Song?

Carly Rae Jepsen guest stars on the Season 5 premiere of The CW drama '90210,' and her music is featured in the commercial for the upcoming season.

But the song in the '90210' promo isn't Jepsen's smash hit 'Call Me Maybe.' It's her follow-up single, 'Good Time,' a duet with Owl City that has reached No. 8 so far on the Billboard Hot 100. "It's always a good time!," sings Owl City's Adam Young while clips from the episode are played in the promo.

The commercial features lots of kisses, wedding talk, baby talk, and a guest appearance from Jepsen herself, who is shown bragging, "I'm a tough act to follow." The comic highlight of the trailer is the popping of a champagne bottle in a limo, which distracts the driver and causes the vehicle to run off the road. The passengers are fine, but the limo becomes stuck in a ditch in the desert. Text in the commercial describe the plot as, "A special delivery, a special guest, a special day, crashing... maybe?"

'Good Time' appears on both Owl City's album 'The Midsummer Station' and Jepsen's upcoming release 'Kiss,' which hits stores on Sept. 18. The Season 5 premiere of '90210' airs on Monday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
