Amy Schumer + Oprah Are Now Best Friends…According to Amy Schumer

Out with the old, in with the new: Amy Schumer is dumping her friends for new BFF Oprah.

The I Feel Pretty star took to Instagram on Tuesday (April 17) to gush over the talk show legend, who she apparently met at a recent photo shoot.

"Bye everyone else I’ve ever met. New phone who dis? @oprah is the only one in my new phone. #nonewfriendsexceptoprah," she jokingly captioned a picture of the pair embracing.

It's unclear why the two were together — they haven't announced any projects together — but when it comes to Oprah's friendship, Schumer is certainly in good company. The Queen Sugar EP is longtime pals with journalist Gayle King, and has more recently forged a bond with A Wrinkle In Time co-stars Reese Witherspoon and Mindy Kaling.

Schumer is also far from the first to fan girl: When Oprah surprised Tiffany Haddish on The Ellen Show in February, Haddish cried.

"So just so yall know I posted it three times because I am that damn happy! Yes! Yes! Yes! I cried and yes I asked her to be my auntie!" Haddish later wrote of the encounter on Instagram. "All thanks to god for always coming thru you hear my prayers and answer accordingly amen!"
