Beyonce has documented her world travels in a new Target commercial for her upcoming album, '4,' due out on June 28. The video shows the singer in various spots around the globe, including Giza, London and Paris.

"It's hard to see when you move so fast," the 29-year-old says in the clip. "So I left the stage and joined the audience. I didn't perform, I observed, and what I saw inspired me. And now I'm ready to step back into the light."

The ad reiterates what the R&B diva expressed in her self-penned Essence magazine cover story, explaining that she took time off to enjoy the everyday pleasures of life. “I had talked about taking a vacation before, but always ended up in the studio after two weeks, so no one believed me,” she explained. “This time, though, I was serious. I was going to give myself a year to do the things I never get to do.”

The 30-second commercial features the songs '1+1' and 'Countdown,' and promotes the deluxe edition of '4,' which includes a Target-exclusive disc of three bonus tracks and three club remixes of 'Run the World (Girls).' The package also offers fans an exclusive version of the 'Run the World (Girls)' music video.
