The Beyhive has performed its most benevolent act yet — devoted members successfully organized a FaceTime call between Beyonce and Ebony Banks, an 18-year-old high school student and superfan who's battling Stage 4 cancer.

Banks, who's spent most of her senior year at Alief Hastings High School in Houston, Texas receiving treatment outside of the classroom, dreamed of getting in touch with her idol, according to a local ABC News affiliate. So, a bunch of Ebony's friends, who affectionately call her Ebob, started a #EBOBMEETSBEYONCE hashtag, and soon, the movement caught on.

“Beyoncé is one of her idols. She admires her so much, so we’re trying to put that on Twitter and Instagram to get Beyonce’s attention,” sophomore Karina Gutierrez told ABC during the campaign.

"She's like my everything and my idol," Banks, herself, later told KHOU. "And if I ever met her, I would probably pass out."

Finally, Beyonce called Banks via Facetime yesterday (March 22), and a portion of the conversation is included in the video above. At one point, Banks says "I love you, Beyonce," to which Bey replies "I love you."

Alief Hastings High held a special graduation ceremony for Banks on March 16. She's been accepted to college, according to Us Weekly and is looking to study to become a pediatric nurse in oncology.
