Tonight on 'American Idol,' pop queen Beyonce premiered the video for her latest single, 'Run the World (Girls),' which will be featured on her upcoming album, '4.' The fiery femme fatale video takes place under a highway overpass in a deserted wasteland, as Beyonce and her army of fierce, stylish women break it down.

'Run the World (Girls)' starts with an all-white clad Beyonce riding a black horse through the badlands, where fire radiates from pieces of strewn-about scrap metal. A flag with Beyonce's likeness printed upon it bellows in the wind, before shots of the singer in an Egyptian like headpiece start rolling, letting her viewers know who exactly "run[s] this mother."

The video is visually stunning in every possible meaning of the word. Beyonce and her troop of independent women wear some of the most amazing outfits we have ever seen as they partake in a power diva dance party. In one part, Beyonce is wearing a gold-plated mini-dress and metallic high heels that would even give Lady Gaga a run for her money.

During the dance scenes, Beyonce ticks, quick steps, winds, and grinds down to the ground in beat with the 'Pon de Floor' backing tune. While she moves to the music, her army rhythmically salutes her, showing off Beyonce's talent for incorporating theatrics and intricate choreography simultaneously.  In one particularly memorable portion of the clip, a statuesque Beyonce holds two hyenas by chains while wearing a dress that looks like she is about to go to the Academy Awards.

This video, like all Beyonce videos, is not one to be missed. Stay tuned to PopCrush for more updates on the forthcoming album from 'Sasha Fierce.'
