Move over, aft world connoisseurs: Blue Ivy is coming for you!

On Saturday night (March 17), Blue and her parents Beyonce and Jay-Z attended the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles, where the precocious six-year-old bid on a very expensive piece of artwork.

During an art auction hosted by her grandmother, Tina Knowles, and emceed by Star Jones, one piece in particular—an acrylic portrait of Sidney Poitier by artist Tiffanie Anderson—caught Blue's eye so much so that the little girl raised her paddle to bid on the painting...for a cool $17,000.

“Her mother and father have been talking about how you gather art and that is a big deal for African Americans,” Jones said when Blue first raised her paddle to bid.

After being outbid, Blue upped her price to $19,000, but that's as far as she (or her parents) were willing to go: she ultimately lost the piece to Tyler Perry.

Don't feel bad, though: Vanity Fair reports that Blue ended up walking away with a $10,000 work by Samuel Levi Jones.
