Now that Bow Wow is a proud dad, he can't afford to rest on his rap laurels. The rapper-actor has announced on his Twitter page that his upcoming album 'Underrated' is expected to arrive in stores on Nov. 1. In addition, the set's first single will be 'Eat the Cake' featuring Lil Wayne and DJ Khaled.

The album's fall release will first be preceded with the fourth installment of his 'Greenlight' mixtape series, hosted by DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar.

As we previously reported, Bow Wow is happy to be a new dad and is in love with his baby girl he affectionately calls "Shai Shai." "She inspires me to go harder, he says. "Even made me treat my mother better, it’s like it made me into a man over night."

However, reports have surfaced of the initial discourse between him and the baby's mother, Joie Chavis. According to TMZ, Bow Wow's name was left off his daughter's birth certificate because Chavis allegedly was angry that the rapper was not present during the birth of the child.

Thankfully, for the baby's sake, the couple has since settled their differences, and Chavis is expected to legally add Bow Wow as the child’s father on the birth certificate.

In other news, Bow Wow is still 'Living the Life.' The rapper-actor recently hooped it up with the black mamba -- Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant. In the video, the five-time NBA Championship b-baller serves up Bow Wow a can of "whip-a--" on the court. It's not pretty, folks.
