Casey Abrams should be the new spokesman for Head & Shoulders dandruff shampoo. Why, you ask? Because the ever-quotable Steven Tyler proclaimed "You made my scalp itch, it was so good" after Abrams performed Carole King's 'Hi-De-Ho,' which was popularized by Blood, Sweat and Tears. Scalp irritation aside, Tyler commended Abrams for knowing how to work the stage, which he did proficiently during his performance.

Abrams was in his element during tonight's 'American Idol,' and he jazzed it up with his noirish take on the song. Abrams was so into his jazzy, bluesy song that he tossed his black hat into the crowd mid-tune. While he is not the smoothest singer of the remaining six, he certainly is a diamond in the rough who is not afraid to show off his edges. Tonight, he performed like he was booked at a smoky, crowded, seedy dive in New Orleans.

"It's like this song was written for you," Randy Jackson said. Jackson also applauded Abrams for being entertaining.

Jennifer Lopez dug Abrams' interaction with the musicians on stage, but she did ask him to loosen up a little, especially in his legs. Tight, loose, whatever. Casey Abrams has a future as singer, performer and entertainer, even if he doesn't win 'American Idol' and its Season 10 crown.
