Dev recently revealed that her debut album, 'The Night the Sun Came Up, will finally drop on Sept. 20, and we're on the edge of our seats with anticipation -- especially after hearing her latest single, 'In the Dark,' which is more varied and much slower than typical Dev dance tracks. To tide us over, the 21-year-old singer has spit out a teaser of the new music video that goes with the song.

Remember that movie, 'The Ring?' Well, the 'In the Dark' video is sorta like that, only a little sexier. From what we can tell in 23 seconds, we're looking a a black-and-white montage of creeptastic moments, Gaga-licious costumes, and a few of those things that go bump in the night, i.e. spiders. We'd even go as far as to say that Dev might be channeling vampire culture a la Twilight with this one.

Oh, and let's not forget the star of the show, Dev. She may be young, but the girl has got her style down pact, and that includes a dark side, apparently. We do get one solid piece of information from this short clip, and that's our director's name: Ethan Lader. Lader is no newcomer, and has called the shots for famous music vids like Bruno Mars' 'Just the Way You Are,' OneRepublic's 'Good Life,' and the visual representation of Dev's hit singles, 'Bass Down Low' and 'Booty Bounce,' so the pair aren't exactly strangers.

Needless to say, we're stoked on this video, even if it means we won't be able to able to go dancing in the dark or even sleep with the lights off ever again.
