Justin Combs, the eldest offspring in Diddy's clan, has been offered a football scholarship to UCLA, according to The Boombox. Combs, 17, would likely play cornerback for the team if he chooses to accept the offer. He is currently a senior at Iona Prep.

UCLA isn't the only school hot on Combs' trail, so it's unlikely he is being recruited due to the star power in his DNA. He has reportedly received offers from Division-I schools such as Illinois, Iowa, Virginia, and West Virginia.

"I went to the UCLA scrimmage and it was great," Combs told BruinBlitz. "I talked to the head coach [Rick Neuheisel] and [he] just gave me the great news that I was being offered." Combs said he feels "blessed" for all the offers he has received and considers UCLA "special" since "it's near my dad, he lives out there, so it was good and I was very excited." Based on his comments, Justin Combs has a good head on those broad shoulders.

Diddy has to be beyond proud of his son's football aspirations, as he himself did not always have designs on being a rapper and a music mogul. He actually hoped to pursue a career in the NFL but a leg injury suffered during his senior year of high school, which is prime time to peddle your wares to college scouts, dashed those dreams. Diddy was then diverted to a different path and it has served him well. He is one of the richest men in hip-hop, worth nearly $500 million, mind you.

Diddy hopes to resurrect his NFL dream, though. He's not looking to return to the field, but to the front office. He has stated that he would like to be the first black owner of an NFL football team.
