Emma Stone’s Haircut, Lily Allen’s ‘Sheezus’ Video + More – Michelle’s Crushes of the Week

Kanye West Wanting James Franco + Seth Rogen at His Wedding

I imagine that not many things out there would tickle Kanye West's funny bone. To me, he always seems pretty serious, from his hardcore rhymes to his infamous all-caps Twitter rants. So when James Franco revealed this week that Kanye West personally called him and Seth Rogen and asked the comedic duo to perform their viral 'Bound 2' parody at his wedding, I was pretty much floored. But after I got over my initial shock, I couldn't stop laughing. Not that I am such a huge fan of James Franco (in fact, the whole 17-year-old on Instagram thing really threw me for a loop) but it was just the fact that Kimye thought so highly of the parody that they even wanted a live re-enactment at their own wedding. That is just the freaking best.

Emma Stone Getting Bangs + Going Ombre

If there is one hairstyle that can instantly make anyone adorable, it's bangs. (Obviously written by someone who is currently rocking -- and loving -- her own bangs.) But a fringe can also make the person look all the more chic, which is exactly what happened to Emma Stone as soon as she went and did the big chop. Her bangs are not only super adorable, but they are also super sophisticated (and yes, she is living proof that the two can co-exist). And while we're on the topic of her hair, I just love her subtle touch of ombre. She clearly added in some blonde towards the middle and at the end of her hair, but it blends so seamlessly in with the red that it doesn't look too forced or unnatural. In fact, it helps to lighten up the look and give it even more of a fun feel. Love it!

Lily Allen's 'Sheezus' Video

While the psychedelic neon shades of Lily Allen's 'Sheezus' music video were a little too much for me, I am pretty obsessed with the lyrics of this song. It's a little murky as to whether the British singer is actually throwing shade at her fellow female pop stars (sample line: “Lorde smells blood, yeah, she’s about to slay you / Kid ain’t one to f— with when she’s only on her debut") or if she's actually complimenting them, but I love that she isn't afraid to call 'em all out. And don't even get me started on the line about periods ("Periods, periods / We all get periods") because I was pretty much falling out of my chair. But ultimately, I love how Lily Allen channels both Beyonce and Kanye West in the final lyric of the chorus, which goes: "Give me that crown, b---- / I wanna be Sheezus." Tell 'em, girl.
