And you thought mall cops where bad! Billboard is reporting that two security guards pretended to be police officers and escorted rapper Lil Wayne to a nightclub in Bloomington, Indiana on Wednesday night. They are now facing charges of impersonating police officers as a result of their actions.

Talk about irony, since Weezy just got out of jail last November after serving time for drug charges -- and now these two brainiacs are in trouble with the long arm of the law -- stirring up more trouble involving the rapper! Let's hope Weezy doesn't catch any heat over this for being guilty by association.

Ronald Andre Harrod, 43, and Larry Lee Richardson, 23, both of Indianapolis, even dressed the part, sporting police-style uniforms and gun belts as they escorted Lil Wayne. We guess their 'official looking' attire was convincing enough to fool Weezy. Authorities say that Richardson went so far as to lead a caravan of buses in a car with flashing lights and sirens, while Harrod played the caboose, riding behind the caravan in a car also sporting flashing lights. The duo claims that they had permission and the credentials to drive the vehicles with lights and sirens.

This is just the icing on the cake for Weezy, who has had a rather unpleasant week. He was recently forced to put his mansion on the market in order to pay a tax debt of over $5 million.
