If you've been dying to get your hands on a DVD copy of Fifty Shades of Greyyou're in luck. The release date has finally been revealed and it's coming to a video store near you (do those still exist?) on May 8, 2015.

An unrated version of the movie will be available in digital format a week prior to its physical release, on May 1, 2015. The movie will reportedly feature over two hours of bonus features as well as an alternate ending. There's no say as to how different the alternate ending is from the film's original theatrical version, but it's definitely a must-see for any huge fans of the movie. According to E! News, the DVD extras will also feature interviews with the movie's cast and crew, including the two stars of the franchise, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.

In case you somehow avoided the Fifty Shades of Grey trailer that's been pretty much everywhere over the past few months, you can check out a trailer advertising the DVD release in the video posted above.

In the trailer, Dornan talks about the relationship between his character, Christian Grey, and Johnson's Anastasia Steele, saying, "Essentially it is two people who've fallen in love with each other and there's massive hurdles in the way, things that have happened that have shaped him in ways of sort of great magnitude."

Johnson also comments, "Christian and Ana meet each other, and they both happen to be each other's Achilles' heel. I don't think that his power or wealth has anything to do with what she feels for him. It's the way he sees her."
