Then + Now: The Cast of ‘Gilmore Girls’ [PHOTOS]
If you didn't grow up watching Gilmore Girls with your mom, then the show probably acted as a surrogate parent for you at some point in your life. If it didn't, we apologize, you can remedy that immediately by watching it in its entirety on Netflix. And trust us, it's worth it. From its rapid-fire dialogue to its razor-sharp wit and quirky, three-dimensional characters, the show is insanely good.
Gilmore Girls' sudden removal from the then-WB lineup was the worst things to ever happen to television. (The second worst thing to ever happen to television was when the show's creator and showrunner, Amy Sherman-Palladino, parted ways with the series after six amazing seasons, leaving its writers to flounder through the disaster that was the show's final episodes.) And while most of us never got the real closure we deserve (Rory would never have taken that campaign job, Logan would not have vanished next to that tree like that, Luke was such a jerk that last season — it was all so wrong), it's nice to know that the cast has gone on to do good work, outside of the realm of Stars Hollow.
From Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) who went on to star in another beloved television show, to Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore) who had a surprise cameo in Mad Men, and Keiko Agena (Lane Kim) who, by the way, is 41 years old now and was hired to pay the role of a 16-year-old when she was 27 — now's your chance to see where everyone wound up, post-Gilmore Girls.
