‘Glee’ Actor Cheyenne Jackson Marries Partner in New York

Congratulation to 'Glee' and '30 Rock' actor Cheyenne Jackson who married his longtime boyfriend, Monte Lapka, over the weekend. The exchange of vows took place in a Hamptons beach ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 3, according to PEOPLE.

Jackson took to his Twitter page over the weekend to share his happy news with his loving followers, along with an intimate photo of the happy twosome on the beach as a married couple. "It's official," he tweeted. "After 11 years together, [our dog] Zora's no longer a bastard. Married the best man I've ever known."

In the past, Jackson, 36, has shared openly his vision for marrying Lapka, telling WNBC New York, "My dream wedding involves just close friends and good music ... Something small. Unfortunately, nobody’s going to be wearing a dress, but that’s okay, too … Our dog would be there. Our dog, our daughter, Zora … Pretty boring, but something just nice and on the beach."

Jackson and Lapka, a physicist, have been together for 11 years. Since the state of New York has legalized same-sex marriages, many couples, actors and singers have been flocking to the Big Apple to make things official. Congrats to Jackson for finally being able to make his dream wedding a reality!
