Warbler Darren Criss will help contestants on the new Oxygen show, 'The Glee Project,' to meet their life dream of appearing on 'Glee.'

Criss -- who plays Blaine on the hit FOX series -- will appear on the premiere episode of the new reality TV spin-off show. Criss will act as a mentor to the 12 contestants, who are competing against one another to earn a seven-episode spot in Season 3 of 'Glee.'

Criss, the lead Warbler, first appeared on 'Glee' and quickly became a fan-favorite character, which led to the further development of the Dalton Academy all-boy glee club as weekly cast members. As we near New York City and the Finals episode -- ending Season 2 -- our ears are perked up to catch any slight mention of how they'll write in this new character ... Whoever it may be.

Ryan Murphy and his crew will have plenty of time to figure it out, though. 'The Glee Project' premieres in June, when 'Glee' is on hiatus until the fall season.
