Grace Potter and Beyonce Knowles have a lot in common. They're both sexy performers, incredible songwriters, and way, way out of your league. So, it only makes sense that Grace would tackle Sasha Fierce's hit song, 'Why Don't You Love Me' ... In her own way, of course.

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals stopped by Billboard recently to lay down a few tunes, including a raw, bluesy, acoustic version of B's 2010 original -- clapping included.

"Beyonce is becoming, like, my hero," Potter says of the R&B superstar, who she only recently discovered. "It's been a slow burn. I didn't know a lot about her, and I didn't know anything when Destiny's Child was happening, but as I've spent more time in the world of music -- and in this sort of entertainment community -- the amount of people that talk about her and the respect that they have for her ... I kind of didn't realize how deep it went until recently."

Potter adds that she too is enamored by Beyonce, and "the idea that there could be a woman out there that is so empowered, that has such a great presence, has all that sexuality, but can back it up with the talent and the charisma that she has."

Guess that means there are two of those women out there, then! Get it Grace -- and better watch out, Beyonce, because this cover is almost better than the original.
