The Paltrow-Martin family, led by Oscar-winner-turned-country-singer-turned-'Glee'-star Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, is certainly talented. While Paltrow has been exploring her musical side on TV and in the film 'Country Strong,' you'd think she'd take advantage of the rich music industry resource that is her husband.

Since Gwyneth sang on 'Saturday Night Live' and the 2011 Grammys, she could easily have asked her husband and father of her two children for a little advice to calm the jitters…

…but she didn't!

In the September 2011 issue of ELLE, which features the actress/singer on the cover in a plain, long-sleeved black top, Paltrow, 38, calls her man "a musical genius." She gushed, "It's like living with Picasso and being like, 'Should I make a little something-something?'"

While Paltrow and Martin are approaching the 10-year mark -- they married in Dec. 2003 -- they aren't going to celebrate their anniversary with a duet, either. She says Martin "makes music for his fans, and he doesn't want people to conjure a lame famous couple when they're getting into his music." She said "I get it" when it comes to keeping her musical aspirations separate from her husband's.

We wonder if they sing in the shower together!
