Lin-Manuel Miranda -- the creator behind HamiltonBroadway's biggest and best hit in recent memory -- has kept uncharacteristically tight-lipped about the details regarding his forthcoming Hamilton Mixtape. But theater nerds around the globe rejoiced earlier today (November 3), as the In The Heights creator finally unveiled the full track list and preorder information via Twitter.

The Hamilton Mixtape -- which promises to be just as musically all-encompassing as the game-changing show it's derived from -- will be available for preorder beginning on November 4, with the official release date listed as December 2, according to Billboard.

More than 25 artists -- ranging in genre from pop to rap to R&B and beyond -- are involved in the project.

From Usher (who will contribute his own version of the OBC recording standout "Wait For It") to Kelly Clarkson (who will deliver a cover of the devastating "It's Quiet Uptown") to Chance the Rapper and Francis and the Lights ("Dear Theodosia (Reprise)") to -- perhaps most surprisingly -- Ashanti and Ja Rule (who teamed up for a reworking of "Helpless"), The Hamilton Mixtape is a reflection of the musical's own transcendent nature and its ability to appeal to such a wide audience.

“You can expect [Mixtape] to be as musically dynamic and to include as wide a range of inspirations as the [show],” Tariq “Black Thought” Trotter of The Roots said of the project in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “But we’re not putting this out for comparison’s sake… they both have a life of their own.

“The mixtape is sort of a love letter from both sides,” he continued. “One from Lin to the artists and M.C.s who inspired the songs that were part of the Broadway production and then on the other [side], from the artists who were inspired by Hamilton, and who were massively affected in a great way by the experience of the play.”
